The difference between indoor and outdoor lamps is mainly waterproof.
The main installation location is different. Like the indoor lamps can be installed on the ceiling and walls, but there are no ceilings and walls outdoors. It may be often installed on the ground. Of course, some outdoor lamps are also installed on the wall, but the biggest difference is that there are roofs in the room to cover the wind and rain, but there is no outdoor. Therefore, for outdoor, the outdoor lamps must have strict dustproof and waterproof requirements, and the protection level of the shell is divided according to the degree of dustproof and moisture -proof, usually the protection level code IP. The code that indicates the protection level is usually composed of characteristic letter IP and two feature numbers. The first number refers to dustproof; the second number refers to waterproof. Generally speaking, for Outdoor Lighting, we will be divided into three categories: architectural lighting, landscape lighting, and functional lighting.Such as:LED Downlight,LED Tube,LED Track light,LED Flood Light...... The traditional outdoor lamps are to make an empty cavity, put the light sources inside, protect it, support it, and allow it to work normally. In the LED era, it is no longer a vacant cavity, but to guide the light by using a lens. This is the same concept as the indoor lamps, but the outdoor lamps pay more attention to waterproof and dustproof protection.
